Why does paypal request the tracking number before I receive payment?
I had put my item up on Craig's list and after someone contacted me about it and sent me the payment, I got one email that said My requested amount was sent to me, as well as shipping. The second email, however, said this. So I was wondering if this is a fraud? There is no updated history in my paypal account, not even like a "pending" order. I've never made paypal transactions before so I have no idea. Both emails were in my spam though, while my account activation and such were located in my inbox.

it because that's not really from paypal its a scammmer sending you that email
so yes its fraud (they want you to send the item before
getting paid when we all know that nobody will
send the item until they have gotten paid
also all paypal email Will state your name not ":dear customer)
also if you are not sure you can forward the email to spoof@paypal.com
they can tell if is a fake or not (which it probably is)
