Because FreeCreditReport isn't giving you a FICO score. They use their own Fakko scoring system. Creditors use FICO. Don't waste money on non-FICO scores.
The Equifax site uses FICO scores. You can get FICO scores for Equifax and TransUnion at MyFico.com. Consumers can no longer get FICO scores for Experian. The Experian and TransUnion sites use Vantage scores (scale to 990 vs FICO's 850). Third party monitoring services use Fakko scores.
