I buy EVERYTHING on credit. Then I just pay it off with my checking account. It's the best way to build good credit.
I've yet to pay a single cent in interest. |

POINTS, i do it all the time, then i go home and immediately make an online payment before it accrues any interest. I get free gas and i get $$$$ off groceries every time i use my card. |

You don't have to pay interest if you pay the card off at the end of the month. I use my card for lots of things like that and have never paid interest. |

I do it all the time, charge gas and cigarettes also, but I always pay in full before the due date so there is no interest.
Plus it's a great way to build your credit score. |

Many people dont carry alot of cash around these days. Credit cards make things alot easier. Then just pay it off at the end of the monh. |

Perhaps they use their debit card that you don't know. I use my debit card for almost everything. It's convenience because I stop carrying cash. They take money directly from my checking account as soon as I swipe the card.
Some people use credit for everything knowing that they have money at the time they get the bill to pay it off. If they can do that, it wouldn't be a problem because they don't pay interest anyway. Some credit card offers world points program. It's free and they can redeem those points for travel like airline tickets, cruise, hotel, car rental, gift cards and even cash.
For others, they may not have the cash available at the time of purchase, even if they knew they have to pay additional finance on that gallon of milk that they just bought. Everyone is in different situation. We don't know for sure why they do it. |

I use my credit card for everything because I get reward points. I pay the balance each month and pay no interest. I have a checking account that pays me interest so I make a few cents there each month by leaving the money in there. I have almost enough points now to get a DeWalt 18v cordless tool kit. |

people don't pay with cash anymore, many places don't take checks so theyeither use debit cards that take from their account like a check or they use a credit card and pay it off. build your credit, build your future. |

I have a card that awards me air miles based on $ purchases, and also gives me a 25 day grace period to pay the balance without interest accruing. I get the miles and I don't pay finance charges since I pay the balance in full every cycle.
Plus, I don't have to worry about carrying cash around, and it's easier to track my spending since I get a statement every month. |
