so they wont get caught. If they buy stuff with your credit card and have it sent to your house all they have to do is come get it off of your doorstep if it is delivered when you're not home. I would keep a good eye on the people you know and hang out/ live with. |

sometimes when you make credit card purchases the seller will only ship to "confirmed addresses" which is commonly the address that belongs to the credit card. if you ship to anywhere else its suspicious so most thieves just ship crap to your house and then steal the **** just as its delivered. so whoever it is, its someone local trying to rob you. |

They probably weren't smart enough to change the shipping address. Because on most sites they usually will ship to your billing address unless you specify a different address.
And maybe they stole the number and bought items they thought you would need? Who knows. |

My best guess would be they are a stupid criminal. Sounds like the forgot to put in the right address ,the section where it asks you if the shipping address is the same as the billing address.
If you have'nt already cancel what was stolen and report it. |

1. It could be someone you know trying to cause you grief.
or
2. They may have went online where sometimes you have to use the same address as the card and then change the shipping info and they didn't do that.
Either way, they have a lot of your info if they know where you live. |

Because they wanted it to go to your house without having to trace it back to them, this person is actually smart. if it goes to your house, it means you bought it. so the credit card company might not reinburse you. You also need to be careful because this person might know your schedule and know where you live to pick up the package. You should get home security installed. This person might be waiting for this package when you're not home. |

they probably didn't put in their address and it sent them to where the bill would be sent on accident.... idiots. |

Sounds like someone found out your address and stuff (Most websites need the billing address for credit cards) and then forgot to change the shipping address to a different address.
Or someone who stole your credit card information is local, maybe getting it from the trash (old bill? Old card) and figured they would be able to intercept the mail before you received it. That way there is no paper trail to their address. Because if all the sudden you notice 100 bucks worth of stuff on your statement and research it to find it was sent to XYZ address, that's one stupid criminal.
I would keep an eye out around your house, see if anyone is suspicious and report them to the police. |

I had a similar experience - only they waited for the delivery truck and even signed for them! That way I get the bill and it seemed I purchased the items. |
