I wanted to take a look of my credit report. I went to annualcreditreport.com and could only get experian. The other two...it said the system could not recognize my information. So I to request my free credit report by the other two companies by phone. I also requested experian for the heck of it even though I already look at it on the internet. Will they charge me if I requested experian through the phone? I already looked at experian on the internet, but will they charge me since I requested it over the phone? They didn't say anything about a charge and I didn't give them any credit card information...but can they still charge me like that? I'm worried, if anyone knows this please reply!!! Thank you!!! |

If they didn't ask for any payment information I doubt you're being charged. Have you received the credit report from experian yet that you requested over the phone? They might not send you one, they might send you a notice that you've already received your free one for the year or something and ask for payment. That's what they did when I tried to get my experian one about 11 months after I had checked it. If they do that, then obviously just don't pay them being as you've already looked at it online. Remember today's date though (or whatever date you got the report on) because at this time next year you get another free one from all three. |

well at WORSE you are obsessing over $10. Is life so unimportant to you that you would let such a thing bother you?
On the bright side, with no payment info to go on they will not be able to come after you with any specificity. They TOO have a life and want to enjoy it as much as possible without flogging you for a double sawbuck they cannot get. |

Without your credit card info they will not be able to charge you. They will just not send you the Experian report requested since you have already seen it online. You also have 30 days to go back and print it from there site if you didn't already. |
