I have a Capital One Card and have a suggestion. Why don't you go on to their website and make a payment online? It is pretty easy to do, you just need your checking account number and the routing number on your check. They also will not charge you either for making the payment online.
Your other choice would be to call them today and see if they will waive the late payment fee for a one-time exception. But if you just let it slide, they will charge you unless it gets to them by the due date. Do not just hope for the best. Either make the online payment or call them and see what you can arrange.

Yes you will. Because it won't reach them until probably tuesday, and that's the day they process the payment and actually get paid for it. Banks are closed tomorrow, so it's not considered a business day. You should try to sign up an account online and make the payment online. Call them to see if they are open tomorrow and explain that this is the first time this happened to you, you didn't know it was a holiday, and ask them not to charge you the late fee. Usually if its your first time, they're pretty nice about it. Good luck!!! |

A late fee is probably about $30.
If you have a long relationship with this card company, and you are late by a day, you can call and tell them to take it off. If they don't...close the card right there and then.
If you have been late before or have had the card less than a year. Go to their website and set up a payment over the internet of call and do it that way. There will be a charge, but it would be less than $30 |

The mail is unpredictable on delivery, if you are mailing a payment you should allow at least a week lead time. The payment may arrive in 2 days but you are taking a major chance and I would say the majority of the time 2 days is not enough time.
To answer your question, you will be charged a late fee and it will be anywhere from 29 to 39 dollars. If you have had the card for a year or 2, I would call like on Wednesday find out if your payment was late (likely) if you were charged a late fee and if so is it possible for the late fee to be waived.
For future reference, if you are cutting that close in the future I would call and make a payment by phone, usually there is a charge BUT it is less than the late fee AND better on your credit history internal as well as external |

Yes you will get a late charge because the payment was not processed by the due date. As another poster has suggested why not pay online? More bad news if you where close to your limit and the late fee ($30-40) puts you over your limit you will also be charged an overlimit fee another $30-40 bucks |

Here's the standard: if you have to ask, then you're probably gonna get a late charge. Companies look for any excuse to charge you.
Anyway, what's the chance that the mail will get your payment there in such a short time....not likely. It probably won't even get there the day after the holiday. Count on it, you've got a late charge. |
