Call the company that issued your loan and ask them. We would just be speculating. Not all companies report for a few days late - they just collect a late fee. Plus, as you said, some companies do have a grace period. Best to get this answer right from the horse's mouth if you want an accurate answer and peace of mind.
Good luck, hon. |

If you are more than 30 days late, it will most definitely go on your credit. And, most car companies won't remove it. And, contrary to popular belief, it will give you a lower score. |

It may be considered late, but the first violation doesn't usually result in a negative impact on your credit score. You can also call your lender and let them know it is late and ask them to accept it. I have had it happen on occassion when I've moved or been gone for extended periods and something slips through the crack. I have never had them tell me no and my credit score is excellent. |

if there is no grace period It doesn't matter how late. 1 day or 1 month. late is late but at least it's paid. It would be worst if it wasn't paid at all. |

it shouldnt show as late on your credit as late is 30 days past due not 4, you should be fine |

you're ok, payments don't show late until there 30 days past due .they may charge you late fee because there is no grace period. |

call the finance company and let them know the reson why you're sending the payment late, I'm pretty sure that they won't have a problem if it's only 4 days as you said/ |

Don't worry about 4 days. They allow for weekends and delays in the mail.
When you say 30 days, that;'s when you have a problem. |

from what i learnt in maths i would say yes.but i am not sure so i suggest you ring up the bank. |

Yes, but only if you are more then 30 day late after the payment. If you are more then 7-15 days late the company that holds the loan can hit you with a fine, or penilty.
Howerver the payment would have to be at least 30 days past due for them to report you to the credit agency.
If you go back to the same company for a loan for your next car, they may hold that agains you though. |

All late payments affect your credit history but I beleive is only if you are more than 30 days late...but I may be wwrong about number of days. |

it will only report on your credit report if it is 30 days or more late. but, the bank keeps record of your exact payment dates, so they may not lend you money new time you want a loan. |
|

|
It will not lower you credit score because the earliest someone can turn a bad report in is 30 days but that being said if you go for another loan at this same place they will know you were late. I wouldnt worry about it though, its only 4 days. |

If it is later than the grace period then yes, it will negatively affect it.
Should this come up in the future, if you call the lender and say " Aah, I mailed out my payment along with other bills and I stuck this bill in my electric bill envelope!! I'm so sorry, I am mailing it to you right now." As long as there is communication with the bank they shouldn't report it to the bureau as negative. |

It depends on the grace period you have. Make sure to check with the company you have the loan with.
Usually, it goes by "30 days late" but on loans and credit card payments you should always try to make those on time because they do show up on your credit and they will charge you a hefty fee for being one day late. |

yes it will. but if its only a one-off and only 4 days late, then the damage will not be great. |

you need to look up in your terms of service if there is a grace period. you can always call the customer service line of the company or bank you have your loan with. when in doubt, just call and ask. can never hurt to ask :) you might even think about calling before you know you will being paying a few days late. they might be able to work with you. |

Late payments of a few days will not affect your credit score/history. The loan company will not even mark it against your credit history, but they will charge you a late fee. If you normally pay on time, you can usually call customer service to request them to reverse the late charges. Only try this if you always pay on time. |

Usually there is a 10 day grace period but check with your loan company first. It will not affect your rating. |

it's only four days. it's bad if you're late for like a couple of months or so. |
