If you still have a receipt they might be able to void the old one and issue a new one, otherwise you're out of luck. |

If she saved her receipt you might be able to get a replacement card. Some places can trace gift cards based on the receipt. If she doesn't have a receipt maybe she put it on her charge card and they could trace it that way. Call Kohls and ask. |

If the gift card was purchased with a credit card or debit card, call the credit card issuer and explain the situation, they may be able to help because they typically have a little more pull if they call Kohls for you. |

...who ever purchased the card(s) was given a "receipt" for the transaction... the "receipt" is your guarantee to quality service.... (it's not just a silly piece of paper to trash after you get home)... |

The receipt might contain the gift card number in which case they can search and inactivate the card and issue you new ones. |
