Although most banks offer protection against identity theft these days, there's always the inconvenience and hassle of sorting out the aftermath, an absolute nightmare! So, if there’s a way to reduce the likelihood by paying with Cash online then yes, sure i would use it. |

Depends on how much protection Ukash.com can provide.
If i am covered as much as I am with using my credit card then maybe. It also depends on how convenient it is to use Ukash.com.
I can see it having potential for parents wanting their kids to experience online shopping, but again would want peice of mind that if something goes wrong, i have some sort of protection. |

I do belive you get better protection purchasing products online with a credit card. Credit cards companies these days offer all kind of protection from purchase warranty to fraud and I think that is a big advantage with online purchase.
I also believe that companies would rather deal with credit cards purchase or even debit card purchase a 'cash system' is still relative new system.
The only thing I can see an advantage with 'cash system' is for users that don't have credit cards. |

First of all, I'd like to speak to the advice on using Pay Pal. In a word, don't. If you need to know more, check out a website called www.paypalsucks.com. I was totally scammed as a seller who accepted payments through Pay Pal. If I am a buyer and a seller only accepts Pay Pal, I don't buy, period. As a banker, I get customers in all the time who are reporting problems with Pay Pal. Secondly, if paying with cash you have no recourse or protection. Use your credit card (on a secure web site only) and then set aside the money to pay the credit card off when the bill comes. This gives you buyer protection and also helps your credit rating. The trick is to be faithful about setting the money aside and not using it for something else. |

Use a credit card and in fact use a credit card that can place limits on your online purchases. Citibank credit cards allow you to issue a VIRTUAL ACCOUNT number from your credit card account.
You can place limits, duration and # of times the card can be used. I find this to be PRICELESS.
I agree Paypal has its flaws and not very friendly to sellers on eBay auctions or anything else. |

You can pay with your bank account (debit) through PayPal as well. That's what I would use, you also have the option of paying from a credit card as well through PayPal and some online stores will only let you buy with PayPal, it's like the new Visa (he he). |

Yes. I would not mind using them. The ukash is nothing more than a prepaid card but it's called a voucher. The only thing it is currently limited to a certain amount of websites. |
