A bank statement (up to date) will be fine, make sure you read the small print before signing anything though!!!! also wage slips will be good. there should be a note in with the paperwork about what they need from you.
good luck |

It is likely that the paperwork was completed as you spoke to Yes Loans on the telephone. It will be sent to you to check the details and sign. Make sure that you read and understand what you are agreeing to before you sign it. If you do not understand some of the terms and conditions in the agreement seek help from Citizens Advice or other similar organisation.
In the Case of Northern Rock requiring proof of address, a bank statement will likely be acceptable but I suspect they will require more than 1 item as proof of address. If you have utility bills, Council Tax statements or other correspondence such as this that may be helpful. Northern Rock will probably list the type(s) of proof of address in their correspondence.
To avoid future worry you may wish to join the Electoral Register. Contact your Council for information about this.
Good luck with your application. |

Go with Northern Rock if you can as their rate is lower. Just supply a Bank Statement or Utility Bill (gas or electric). This will normally be acceptable proof. |

yes loans is simply a broker and they will pass your details onto other companies for a "small fee" of £49.00
be carefull of these as they will not get you very far and you should not be paying to get money. |

DO NOT go with YES LOANS !!!!!!!!!!!! Thay are conning people every day !!! They will tell you you have been accepted over the telephone but when you read the small print they ask you for £39.99 up front fee's for arranging the loan. When you look further you HAVE NOT been accepted for any loan. What you have been accepted for is to be enrolled on their books - they are a BROKER only. Once they get the £39.99 they will start doing searches for loans and this alone will ruin your credit rating as every search is recorded and every search reduces your rating so you will never get a loan offer. One guy had 90 searches recorded in a month. If you were lucky enough to be offered a loan it would be at a stupidly high interest rate. However most never get offered a loan and they dont get the money back either. I know all this because my daughter nearly got stung. Do a google search and you will find websites that warn against them. Also, once they have your money they give you a different telephone number and that is never answered. Go with NORTHERN ROCK or another high street lender xxxx |

you just sign the contract dude. i earn a little more than you and i borrowed 5k for car to be paid back over 4 years - i find that saving money as well as paying off my loan and living expenses has left my bank balance in the same area. i can't afford to go out with my mates so much - i have had to make a whole load of sacrifices. i don't have a credit card and that has helped me big stlye - my friend borrowed 4k and had a credit card and at one stage he had 10k of debt. please don't get a loan if you can possibly avoid it. you only paying to make rich people richer - the swines |

I'd go with Northern Rock - I've heard dodgy stories about Yes loans. |

As part of the Consumer credit act you have to sign for any credit, whether it be a loan or credit card. You also will have a cooling off period in which you can change your mind. Read everything carefully before you sign it.
A Bank statement or bill of some sort should be enough at the Northern Rock and I would suggest you persue that option as 'Yes' have very high rates. |
