I went to ER For an old symptom and knew exactly what pill was needed to treat the illness. the doctor did not listen to my medical history and lacked the skill to deal with it. so he ordered test. based on the test, he came up wrong diagnosis and wrong medicine. at my insistence, he gave me what should be. the whole procedure costed me around $1000. actually the right pill is only worth $2. now between me and my insurance $800 has been paid .but the fee for the doctor should be paid in full? I doubt and think that there should be accountability. lack of competence and expertise should not deserve the full pay. what should be the right approach.
