Of course you can apply for another credit card, but you will still have to pay off your capitol one card and then close it. |

ALL credit card companies charge loads for withdrawing cash, IF you are doing this, then a credit card is not for you. |

Yes. Find a credit card offer with a 0% rate for charges transferred and make sure that it's long enough for you to pay off the charges you already have. Make sure that you are offered a rate on new charges that won't go up after a few months--low introductory rate and very high rate from there on. I don't know where to check these offers out in the UK, but here we have www.bankrate.com. I typed in compare credit cards UK and got a few sites you can check out. Check then all. I'd be sure to read everything and then call and ask questions because these companies use pretty obscure language and often don't mean what you think.
Withdrawing cash is a very expensive way to get money but the % rate certainly beats payday loans. Do you have the option of going to the grocery and then asking for cash back so you are charged as if the cash is another purchase? |
