Additional Details Bad faith practices such as dragging out claims and refusals to pay claims for theft and damages to vehicles. My car was stolen in june of this year and they have delayed sending me paper work, sent out special investigation workers trying to intimidate me and they want a sworn statement. I have answered their questions fifty five thousand times via paper,phone and in person. I have done some research and have found there have been alot of class action suits against them. yes i know what class action means, i use to be a union organizer. I want to know if there are any filed as of late, for bad faith practices?
I would file a complaint with your states Department of insurance. If they feel your complaint is valid then they will send the complaint to the insurance company and they have to respond. Some states have laws about delaying a claim without reason. If they have not sent you a denial letter then they should not be holding this up any longer. SIU dept should have a final report and determination by now. This amount of time is unacceptable. If you are working with an Agent that sold you the policy, call them and see if they can get information on the status of your claim for you. If they did not know about this claim and they find out how long it has been taking. They usually get pretty upset about it, since you are their customer too. Good luck.

Class action lawsuits are great for lawyers, bad for you. You'll be lucky if you get $10 so instead find your own lawyer who only charges if he/she wins.
