They likely will not challenge the THC result. Your insurer will still pay the claim to the claimant, though they may cancel you for driving under the influence. Proving that you weren't may prove difficult since the blood test was positive.
Whether they pay for your damages depends on the state, the policy, the charges against you, if you are convicted, what you are trying to claim and other factors.
Wish I could give you a definite answer, but you'll have to get that from your lawyer if you have one, or your insurance company.

If you have THC in your bloodsteam and it is detected through a bloodtest after an accident, and your insurance states that if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, that they will not pay, then you will be liable for damages AND you could be cited for DUI.
Sorry, I know this is not what you want to hear, but you made the choice to smoke.... |

if you are in australia, you will find that your insurance policy will normally say something like:
we will decline to pay your claim if you are driving illegally or something to that effect.
so, if it's not legal to be on the roads in that condition, then the insurer has grounds to decline your claim.
if they decline to pay your claim, you don't really have grounds to challenge it. |
