Work as much as possible. It really sucks and you have like no social life. But that's all you can do. You have to make ends meet. |

You will have to work and perhaps can get tuition aid. If need be, scale your academic load back. |

I applaud you for the path you're on. The college or university you are attending will have advisors to walk you through what you need to do. Just call and make an appointment. |

Hey Buddy,
Don't listen to bad advice like getting loans. I am a financial planner and I can tell you that student loans companies are becoming just as shady as credit card companies.
The best thing you can do in my opinion, is to work part-time, or full-time, with a company that offers tuition reimbursement benefits.
These benefits are very common nowadays, and most jobs such as retail stores, etc. offer this. In addtion save a portion of what you make so that you have a small nest egg of money to get started with after school. Also, go ahead and take advantage of the 401k. Never two early to start saving for retirement.
You may have to lighten your load down to 9 hours a semester, which could delay graduation. However this can allow you graduate with thousands of dollars in your pocket as you go into the real world.
Don't be like most people. Most people in your situation live on loans, and spend their entire life in debt, just trying to make ends meet. I know people who make 75k-100k a year and are still trying to pay off student loans, and they have no money saved up.
I hope that helps. |
