Know the information, and read the questions carefully - some are trick questions. Take the practice tests with your study materials, and if you don't understand why you got a question wrong, figure it out or ask it here.
I went to a cram course, and asked the instructor a question about B&M coverage. He said not to worry about it, because they never ask B&M questions on the exam. HE WAS WRONG, and I got the question wrong. (THANK YOU MARSHALL KATZ IN MASSACHUSETTS.) So if your instructor's answer doesn't make sense, look into it further.

Yes, know ALL of the information you were given to study backwards and frontwards, because you can bet that anything you don't know will be on the test. I took the test 20 years ago, and I would never have passed it had I only casually studied the information. |

mbrcatz17 and kingaroo gave great answers. I would add this, if there are terms that just doesn't stick with you, make small sentences that describe the meaning of a term, maybe something silly or personal and write it down several times to cement it in your memory.
Study all things, because NO ONE really knows what will be on the test. That would be illegal.
I remember my instructor and all he did is gab BORING stories for 8 hours a day that never helped me pass the test one iota. If I could remember his name I'd publish it here also.
I passed my Life and Health the first try which so surprised me! Then when I took the P and C test, Failed ... had to take it a second time, which too surprised me, because I thought for sure the Life and Health would be the worst.
