Personal Accident insurance is very limited. It ONLY covers accidents and then only if the injury was caused solely by the accident. So for example if you trip over & after that you can't use one of your legs you can claim, BUT if the medical report shows that there was already a degenerative process (such as osteoarthritis) which would have caused you to be disabled at some time anyway then you won't get paid or you will get offered a reduced amount, taking into account that it was not just the accident that caused the disability.
It is cheap because it only offers limited cover. Read the full policy to check exactly what cover it offers & then decide if it is something that is worthwhile for you. |

If you can get with the right Accident carrier, it works GREAT! I have one thru the "quacking duck" and I've definitely be paid more money than I've ever paid in! They cover well-baby, women's, check ups, spider bites, cuts, almost everything. People who get ripped off don't know how to use it!!!! My husband had a Work Comp injury and had to have surgery, we made money! Doesn't matter how the accident happens. If you read your coverages and use it every chance you get, it's worth it! |

No I worked in insurance for a year and personally would never take any insurance out.
The only insurance that you should take out is insurance you have to IE. car. Otherwise there is just to many loop holes in the contracts.
Dint get caught out by them..
