Are there any health insurance companies that offer coverage for pre-existing conditions?

Group policies through an employer do after a waiting period.

Many individual policies do depending upon the condition, your location, and your situation. There may be a waiting period or they may rider the condition. If there is impending surgery or un-diagnosed conditions you will be declined.

Visit a local agent that works with all the major companies in your area. The agent can do a prescreen with all the companies to find out whether or not any companies might accept you and on what conditions. There is no extra charge using an agent.

Depends on the pre-existing condition, and what state you are in. In Colorado your condition could be "up-rated", excluded, or you could be denied coverage entirely. Ask your local agent to to a pre-screen.

This is a tough one. I know myself I have a pre-existing condition as well and it makes things very difficult. Have you considered getting a high deductible plan and then using a health discount program for office visits, lab work etc? If you want some more information feel free to contact me.

http://healthplans.my-age.net - Try this one. I personally have their health insurance.
As I know they have some plans to cover preexisting conditions.

There are a couple: welfare health insurance, like Medicaid or Medicare. Or, a group plan with a wait. Or, some states have a high risk health insurance plan, but they also have a wait before coverage kicks in for pre-existing conditions.

You aren't going to get a company to sell you a plan, in general, AFTER stuff goes wrong. Just like you can't buy a lottery ticket AFTER the drawing.

GreenSky
In California (and probably elsewhere), pre-exisiting conditions are covered if they are disclosed on the application. This is subject to the waiting period of up to 6 months since last treatment.

Since waivers are not allowed in this state it is possible that your pre-existing will cause a company to decline to issue.

A pre-ex condition such as controlled high blood pressure, especially controlled with generic medication, will likely NOT be an issue.
