Most states mandate coverage for children until at least 19, regardless of their student status. Some states, like Ct have changed the age to 26. So, we can't really answer your question because it would depend on some other factors.
-While you may be covered, your child will not be covered. If your fiance is in the military, the baby will be covered as a military dependent. If you marry before the birth, you will be covered by the military as well. |

It depends on how the policy was written. Most often,if you are a fulltime student you should be covered (however after the baby is born-IT will probably not be covered). This is an important question you need to ask Health Net. |

You should look at the summary plan description (SPD) of your Dad's plan to see if you are still covered. In general, you would still be a dependent if you're a full-time student. Legally, pregnancy must be covered as if it were any other illness. If you were still considered a dependent, your expenses would be covered - not certain about expenses for the child himself/herself. Once you marry, you would no longer be eligible for your Dad's plan but would be for your husband's plan - thanks to HIPAA, it could not consider any conditions, including pregnancy as preexisting. Also, your state may have a child care plan for low income people. I would also check specifics with Health Net.
