The best way to compare plans is to visit a local agent that works with all the major companies in your area. The agent can not only compare but can also explain what you get and, more importantly, what you don't get with the plans. There is no extra charge using an agent.
You need to be careful when looking for the cheapest policy because with health insurance you get what you pay for. The cheaper plans will have reduced or limited benefits (the cheapest aren't even insurance) and it does you little good to get on a cheaper plan that doesn't cover what you want covered. |

The best way to compare plans, is by going to talk to a local agent.
With health insurance, you get what you pay for. Depending on your age/health, it costs what it costs, for the coverage you get. If you're 30 and healthy, a no /low deductible plan IS going to cost you $300 a month. That's just how it is.
A local agent can explain coverages and help you balance premiums and deductibles to find something you can afford. |
