If your employer does not offer group health plan you can be on mother's insurance to age 26. You dont have to be a student.. Some companies are starting it now even though law does not kick in until September. Check with her insurance co.

The only way to get a definite answer is to call. There are usually rules about age and being a full time student and/or dependent adult but they vary from company to company. If you want to know for sure you need to call the company.
