An Insurance company billed our company for the first time 2 years after a final workman's comp audit. We were changing insurance companies at the time.

Some states (such as mine) limit the time an insurer has to notify you of a billing discrepancy. Call your state Workers' Compensation Commission (or state Department of Insurance if your WCC isn't a separate agency) and ask what the laws are within your state. |
