If you have no form of payment they may not see you...if you try to work something out with them regarding billing (you'll make payments, see if they can give you a discount since you have no coverage, etc) they should see you--I can't imagine any hospital in the US refusing treatment for that reason.... |

They will treat you, but they will also bill you at much higher rates than if you use an urgent care clinic or other provider. |

HI, if you are in the US they will not kick you out of the hospital. I had the same problem. I graduated college in may of this year, and had a baby in august. I had health insurance through my school, but it expired a week after my baby was born. At 2 weeks he developed a bad infection and we had to stay in the hospital for 5 days. I told them that I am not working, and have no insurance, but they still took me in. They asked me to apply for govermental health insurance, and I got it based on my hospital bill. try that. |

A normal thing would be to accept any patient even if they don't have a health insurance as this is the substance of the vow taken by doctors at the beginning of their careers in medicine.
