Why not just try, before I had my ged I told a company that I had it, they never checked, I got the job.. honestly, after working for as long as I have, I have realized.. unless it requires a college education, they never really check. You could always just tell them you have it.. if they ask for it.. you lost it in a flood or something.

Many fields do not require a HS diploma (i..e to be a stock broker); however, you still have to be able to pass your licnecing exam.
And if you are gonna put out your own shingle; would you trust your insurance needs to someone who couldnt even graduate high school?
