There is no good ULIP plan. Get a term insurance policy. Cheaper and provides more coverage.

ULIP is not recommended for insurance cover. Go for Pure Term Insurance or Endowment Plans.

Dont invest ur money in regular ulips, if u really wish to invest pls refer its allocation charges, FM charges, surrender charges e.t.c. Now a days most of ulips plan attract 10% to 65% allocation charges and this money directly cut from ur 1st year investmment, fmc varies from .75% to 2% its applicable to every year. if u r looking single investment , invest in single investment plan offered by insurance companies with out insurance coverage, if ur a regular invester, based on ur age i recommended u to invest ur saving like this( 50% in stock market, 25% in govt bond NSC(for tax exemption ) or others, 25% in pulic banks) Regarding insurance pls take one TERM insurance plan for 30 years. if u spent 10rupee per day u will get 10 lacs insurance coverge including critical illeness coverage. Pls remember its not a saving anly spending.I already took one TERM insurance plan for rs 5.5 lacs insurance coverage , for this every year i spent only 1700/-

If you want insurance cover only then a ULIP sounds as buying a tea planation to drink a cup of tea. ok. but there are other things. if you need some investment in addition to the insurance cover, some money for your future needs, you want tax exemption, good return then u can consider ulip. but you must be careful. I can suggest something if you could provide the amount that you are ready to invest either as a lumpsum or on a regular basis. also please tell the desired sum assured. i think you have been in touch with a insurance agent and have some discussions. if you could point out a companies product i could tell you the good and bad of that product and u can decide. u can contact me over my mail id
