Usually your renters insurance covers personal property losses. Have your police report number, and call your agent. They have certain allowable amounts they cover, he will explain what coverage you have.~~ |

You'd claim stolen money, on your renters policy. It's subject to a deductible, you have to file a police report, and it's also subject to a limitation of coverage.
And you'll have to explain why you left cash in your car, to be stolen like that. |

You can call your insurance company. Did you file a police report - if not you should have. Even if you file your deductible may be more than the money you lost. |

It would be on your renters insurance. But the amount stolen is probly under your deductible. If it is there is no reason to put in a claim. |

You can try on your auto insurance. But claims for "stolen cash" are usually denied. NEVER leave money in your car. |
