Well, yes, but it's likely to exclude treatments for ANY kind of cancer, not just the breast cancer.
You're not likely to find coverage for any cancer related treatments outside of a group policy, and you'll have a waiting period for your preexisting conditions. |

Same way you obtain life insurance if your dead, you don't. No health insurer will cover a pre-existing condition. If you don't have health care now, it will be impossible to get coverage for a pre-existing condition. Insurance companies are in the business of making money, cancer treatments cost thousands of dollars a month. You premium would be HIGHER than you treatment because that's the only way to make money off you.
I would call you state department of health and your state insurnace department to try and get some government cheese. |

You can always obtain some kind of insurance depending on your income and resources. I am not sure what state you live in but you can apply for medicaid which will cover your costs. You might have to pay into it if your income level is high. In new york we have state and city programs that cover health insurance costs. Go to your local .gov website and look under health or benefits. I am a medical social worker who assists people everyday with these issues. |

If you have already been diagnosed, you can get health insurance, but it most likely will not cover doctors fees for cancer related issues, because it is a preexisting condition. However, I am sure that there are many charities, and phycisians that will help you at a low cost. Try googling it! I hope all goes well, and remember you are not alone!!

Yes you can. However, it's a preexisting condition and therefore will be harder to find a company to cover you and when they do it's going to cost considerably more.

As stated here already, you will be able to find health insurance but with a pre-existing clause for the breast cancer. This will cover you if, god forbid, you develop another type of cancer somewhere else in your body.
AFLAC also has a great cancer policy which will cover you for future cancer but will exclude your current condition. |
