I have worked at the same small business (in Michigan) for 8 years. I began getting health and dental benefits four years ago. I had to pay half for the first two years then two years ago my boss paid for all of the coverage and considered that a pay raise. Now, about a year ago now, my boss said benefits were getting too expensive to pay and cancelled them. It was just supposed to be for a few months but it has been a full year. Can he legally do that? Recently, he offered to reinstate them and pay only 25% and I would have to cover 75% but I told him all or nothing.... are there any laws I could bring to his attention? Is there anything I can do?
