Can my insurance company refuse to pay out if i am charged with dangerous driving?
I had an accident and injured 3 people, they are suing me for compensation - the paperwork has been sent to the insurance company as I have third party insurance. I have been charged with dangerous driving. Can my insurance company refuse to pay out for the 3 I injured. I over accelerated coming off a roundabout and spun up onto the pavement.
Are you kidding, insurance pays for stupid every day (even drunk driving unless your policy specifically excludes this but I have never heard of that). Really the only case they wouldn't pay is for an intentional act but when it comes to driving it would be pretty difficult to prove that so rest assured that your claim will be paid and that your insurance premium will go up significantly at renewal.

They might be able to refuse to renew your policy

No, that's what insurance is for, to cover your **** ups. The only time insurance will not cover you is if you are drunk.

Well, it's going to depend on how your policy is written. It's remotely possible, but the real world answer is, they'll pay up to the property damage limit for damaged property, and up to your bodily injury limit for their injuries.
The PROBLEM is, how high of a limit do you have? If you have minimum liability coverage, likely you are going to end up out of pocket for this, as you're talking about THREE people's injuries.

They cannot deny the claim because you were charged with Dangerous Driving. Certain other types of charges can cause a claim to be denied, such as Impaired driving, however Dangerous Driving is not one of them. They will pay up to the limits of your policy, which I hope for your sakes is high.
