My husband has been using Geico for decades. They are very helpful and they have adjusters everywhere, even over seas! They are the best! Great rates and great coverage. You can go online get the quotes, make payments, file claims, etc. They are great. |

I've been insured by GEICO for many years. Decent rates, good customer service, not a great website, and they recently switched their phone interface to voice-activated (so instead of "to make a payment, press 1", now it's something like "to make a payment, say payment", which I absolutely abhor so I don't use it anymore). Currently, they insure my car, my daughter's, my mother's, and my home. |

if your looking to save money, having geico do a consumer report is optional. if you have fair-good credit, agree to the consumer disclosure (ie) credit. Other wise if you have very poor credit no not agree to the disclosure. Roadside service and rental car are very good to have do not remove them to save money. if you have a new car they have a great mechanical breakdown option which you can have included in your insurance. Accidents and tickets play a role as well,be honest about any reported accidents or tickets. Working your policy and paying bills on-line are very easy with there website which is very user friendly. Geico is a very successful company which is growing, so calling customer service on the phone could pose a wait on hold, but call after 9pm and you shouldn't have a problem unless its Monday. The biggest mistake made by consumers is not reading their policy documents, it will save you alot of time and confusion. Overall geico is a great company and they are very honest. i saved 400 dollars every six months by switching to them and enjoy paying my bill on-line. I opted not to have my credit run, (this is not optional by all companies.) Good Luck |

I have been a GEICO employee for almost 10 years now and can tell you that rates go up and rates do go down. It all depends on several factors, especially the state you reside in for the coverage. You can go online to www.geico.com and get a quote. You can even call toll free 24 hours a day!! yes, you can file a claim at 2am on Saturday morning if you needed to :) That is what is awesome about the company. The associates put the customers first!

PS.. If you are also looking for homeowners or renters insurance, you can also inquire about that as well. Some states are not written for homeowners or renters, so that is an inportant piece of info |
