The short answer to your question is yes you can have 2 life insurance policies on your life... but there are exceptions. Most companies wont insure your life if you already have 25 times your annual income covered in insurance between all the companies you are covered through. The underwriters will add together the total amount of the agrigate insurance policies to detirmine this. So can you really have as much insurance as you want as long as you pay the premiums... no.
Can a good agent get you more than 25 times your income, yes. If you are looking for more insurance talk to your local insurance agent, and see if they can get you more. |

Yes you can have 2 policies. In fact that's probably the smartest way to do it. You should always have a whole life policy for your burial expenses and a term policy for your debts such as your house. Financial reviews are key when assessing how much of each kind of insurance is needed so try to find an insurance company who will provide this service for free instead of one who will charge for the same exact service. |
