I was driving home when i was involved in an accident, i called my insurance company to report it only to be told i no longer have a policy with them. I said i have never cancelled my policy and they investigated. During December i recived a renewal notice, i looked at the price and thought it was steep, i contacted the insurance to see if i could get a better quote, once they siad no i said and this is proven in the recording they made, "i may have to go elsewhere" but i did not use any terms to sugest i wqnt them to cancel the policy which is auto renewing. Ineed i checked my direct debits and they had not been taken for the past few months, accepted this is my fault for not noticing, i use Direct Debits cos then i dont have to remember to pay the bills it just happens! As i have not in as many words cancelled the policy do i have a leg to stand on? please help thanks Terry
