If you are going to an hotel, they will have a safe in reception that you can put your valuables in at a small charge.Ask your holiday company ,they will be able to tell you prices at your holiday destination.

If there is a bowling alley around you can rent a locker there for 25 cents.

normally they are provided with a hotel room as standard. If not you can get them for about £30-£50 but remember a smal safe can easily be carried away. I would suggest getting a small security box and either leaving it with reception or hiding it in your room. Failing that make sure you keep them on your person the whole time.

Talk to your local bank about prices. They usually have a monthly fee or yearly fee.

If it worries you this much at this early stage then it will drive you nuts when you are away if you do not do something. Rent a locker for peace of mind. No idea on cost, you could always cut up your cards and ask for new ones when you get back. By the way how can you manage a three week holiday without cards??

You normally rent a safe deposit box at a bank by the year. It is somewhere between $25 and $50 for a small one. If you are in the UK I assume prices would be in the same range £12 to £25.
