You may not need alot of insurance now, but you do need enough to pay for your final expenses.
But later on your circumstances will change, such as marriage, children, mortgage and other debts.
In my opinion, you should buy as much life insurance as you can afford now, because as you get older, and the longer you wait, the more expensive it gets.
Also, by purchasing now, you are insuring your insurability. In other words, you may not be able to qualify medically if you wait. Our health can change in an instant. I know this by experience.
I'm not going to recommend that you purchase term, whole life, universal life, or variable life. That would be your decision after you have made an informed comparison, after talking with a PROFESSIONAL agent. You could start with the agent to whom you trust to carry your auto insurance. |

Life insurance is a TOOL. Do you have a GOAL, that the life insurance is accomplishing? If not, you don't need it!
I have kids. I want them to be put through school, and hubby to be able to hire a nanny and housekeeper, if I kick off. That's MY goal. |
