Does anybody offer job loss insurance?
I was just wondering if any insurance companies offer insurance that will cover your living expenses (regular bills, mortgage payments, etc) for say 3-4 months in the case of a job loss? Is there any sort of insurance out there like that?
Probably not but your mortgage company might offer insurance to cover your house payments and also I know credit card companies are always trying to get me to buy insurance to cover credit card payments in case of job loss.

Nope, that's called "unemployement", and is a government run and backed insurance program.
It's one of those type of insurances where the insurance companies can't make money selling it - only the people that wanted to use it, would buy it - kinda like "boob job insurance" and "infertility insurance". So the government makes EVERYONE buy it.
