does anyone know anything about peopletaking out insurance policies in second life?
are there companies selling insurance?
has anyone taken out an insurance policy in second life? if so to cover what?

Are you talking about the online game second life? If so, why would you need an insurance policy for your character in a game?

Basically it is a policy that would cover you or your wife depending on who dies first. (second to die) They are not very popular because the premiums are based on the one most likely to die first and they are often higher in premium than just buying two separate policies.

life insurance for your second life? how can I get a second life?????????

Insurance Pickle.com
I think you have to wait until you're actually reincarnated before you can buy insurance again.

If that's not what you are referring to then please be a little clearer.

Chris C
You might want to get some clarification on the terms your using.

You can have a policy where multiple lives are covered under the same policy, where in effect you can add a 'second life' to the policy.

You can also have a joint policy where there are 2 people insured and you have the option of it paying out as Joint First to Die (pays when the "first life" dies), or Joint Last to Die (pays when the 'second life' dies). Joint Last to Dies are typically used for estate planning or charitable giving situations or to make sure the kids don't pay taxes when they inherit stuff.

IF that's not what you mean please clarify.
