Renters insurance is so cheap. It is definately worth having. You can talk to your agent that writes your car insurance. They should be able to help. |

It's totally worth it since you are always away. The insurance will cover the loss of the contents in your home so you need not worry so much. However, keep your valuables in the bank including important legal documents such as passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.
Before you get your renter insurance, make sure you understand very well the "claim clauses" which explain to you the procedures in claiming your losses. Avoid complicated procedures which may result into non-payment. Get a very reliable and established NON-LIFE insurance company. Better yet, ask from your friends and relatives for referrals.
Take care. |
