It's not cockney, it's Australian. They do sound a little alike, though cockneys don't pronounce their H's. Instead of saying 'have", they say "ave." |

And if you would would read court rulings against geico their reason for not paying is always the same. 68% of claims against insurance companies that go to court are against GEICO alone. How many Insurance companies are in America? 40,000 or so? |

Because people working in ad agency's think that everyone is so enthralled over English accents. They are very behind the times. English, Australian type accents are old hat. |

All Geico commercials are like that. It is a sales pitch. A gecko is from down south. A little lizard that is everywhere(harmless).
