You will covered in any vehicle as long as they have insurance and you have permission to drive the car. You do not have to have insurance if you do not own a car. What would you be insuring? The person who owns the car is to have the insurance on that vehicle. If you get into an accident then the insurance they have on the vehicle is the what would cover it. If they have full coverage then the car and you ar covered. If they only have liability then only the other person and car that you hit are covered. As far as your husband car, you are covered not matter what because you live in the same house as he does. Everyone in the house is covered to drive that car even if they are not listed on the policy. |

It depends, but usually the insurance just covers the car. Like other people pointed out, if you're driving someone else's car, with their permission, their insurance covers the car, so you don't need insurance. |

If you have auto insurance, you are covered no matter what vehicle you drive. Depending on the insurance policy, if you do not have insurance and the owner of the vehicle does, normally the vehicle is covered. |

In my state, the car is insured for specific drivers but would not cover me driving another car. (I think) |

In the UK insurance ordinarily covers only specified drivers; only a few policies cover the car rather than the driver. |

No, you can't drive your husbands car either. You need to be on his insurance as a driver. That will affect his ins. cost. |

It's simple, the insurance follows the car. So long as you don't live in the household, the insured can give you permission to drive. Whether or not you are at fault doesn't matter. You have to go back to the fact of " THE INSURANCE FOLLOWS THE CAR" |

Covers your car. If you have a good driving record you can be on someones insurance and lower the cost, especially business fleets. If you have a bad record do not go on someones insurance. |

It depends on the type of coverage you get. I is possible to get auto insurance that will cover the personal injury.
Depending on the state you live in you can be ticket for have not insurance. In California you must have liability insurance by law, so you can be ticketed for have none. |

No, you are liable for the damages if your proven at fault, besides most insurances do not cover someone who is not listed on the plan..So, I hope you have a savings account to tap into. |

If you do not steal the car and have the owners permission to drive the car, yes their insurance will cover you. Unless it is specifically stated in their policy that it will not cover anyone but the insured driving the vehicle.
If your husband has a policy you are covered also as living in the same home with him. They are required by law to provide this to you in the state of Arkansas. Other states may have different laws covering this, you should check this out before you take off somewhere and the unexpected happens, because this could ruin you financially for many many years! |

It is illegal to drive a car that does not have you listed on the insurance policy. You get fined and so does the person who owns the car. The insurance policy does NOT have to pay out. It will be a choice. they may charge the the person whos car it is all the money the company paid out...that depends on the company and the state. |

Insurance covers both car and humans plus property. |

There are many twists and turns to auto insurance; generally, if the vehicle is insured, you're covered, unless the policy specifically states only the owner of the vehicle is insured, or unless the policy names a specific driver that they won't cover. Read the policy very carefully, don't be afraid to ask the agent about anything you don't understand. Always, if the vehicle is insured, and you have a valid license, and weren't at fault, you won't receive a ticket. |

If you were to get in a wreck in your friends car and you're not on they're insurance policy than they won't be able to get their car fixed. You will probablly have to pay for the damages because the insurance won't. I think that goes for any situation if your not on their insurance. |

Most car insurance policies cover any person the insured gives permission to drive their car. VERY few companies have a policy that only covers the people listed. Unless your husband has one of these policies, you will be covered to drive his car. You should have him add him to your policy, though. A person who lives in the household needs to be listed as a driver. |

depend were you live but here in Quebec it's an obligation to have an insurance for damage of the cars and if someone die or have something broken or what everything else, it's the government who pay for hospitalization and the rest. |

depends on how much total coverage you are wanting to co-pay out is normally $100/500/1000.It does cover a minum you would have to read your policy and see .Or call your Ins. Agent. |
|

carcrazy15317

it covers the car and the owner of the insurance policy, unless other drivers are added to the policy |
