Full coverage, does NOT mean everything is covered. Some things are ALWAYS not covered - like breakdown.
Insurance doesn't pay to maintain your car, or fix mechanical problems. |

Auto insurance does not cover mechanical malfunctions. It covers damage due to collision or certain other exterior causes. If you have a vehicle warranty, that might cover it. |

Car insurance doesn't even cover mechanical issues of ANY sort, other than collision damages. If you have an extra cost mechanical warranty of some sort, you may have some relief. However, your typical collision/liability policy has no coverage for your problem.
Reading your past inquiries about how to 'soup up' a 1995 Eclipse makes me quite certain that you are simply out of luck. Even if you DID have a 'mechanical warranty', it won't cover damages when you make such modifications. |
