Most homeowners policies (but not all) cover theft of household items.
Cars are specifically excluded from being covered under a homeowners policy, because if you want theft coverage for a car, you buy it on your car insurance policy.
Sorry, you have to file this claim under your car insurance policy. |

No homeowners insurance only covers the fhisical building or the mortage. You have to get homecontents insurance to cover the contents of your home against theft. But for your car you will need vehicle insurance. |

Your homeowner's insurance does cover theft, but of the personal possessions you have in the house....not the car itself.
Your auto's comprehensive coverage will pay to replace your car.
However, if you had personal possessions inside the car (like golf clubs in the trunk for example) then there is coverage to replace those items from your homeowner's policy, up to certain limits. |

A homeowners policy does cover theft but not for a motorized vehicle. You would have to claim it under your auto policy |

You have to examine your policy or call your homeowner's insurance company and ask them. If you rent, ask your landlord if he has renter's insurance & what the terms are. |

Hi, my name is Eunice Saunders and I am a licensed Insurance Agent. Homeowners Insurance does cover theft but not of an Auto. You would have to have Compressive coverage on your Auto and your Auto insurance would cover the Auto. Thanks, Eunice |

A stolen car is usually CAR insurance.
Home insurance differs in each policy and each company supplying it. Remember, the more protection you have, the higher the cost of the insurance. Make sure that you are covered for what you need or want to replace but don't go overboard so the cost of the insurance is more than the value of the policy. |

It depends on your plan. Our auto insurance covers the car and our homeowners insurance covers the other items on the property. I believe when you enroll you have certain options you can choose. It depends on your plan. |

Home owners insurance only covers your car if you have a garage attached to your house. |
