The first is Brittish pounds, the second is dollars - usually american, but can be canadian. Yes, there's a difference, you have to convert the currency of each country.

There is a conversion, and the rate changes daily. Check www.xe.com for the current exchange rate. The pound to US dollar exchange usually is around $2 to 1 GBP. It varies slightly, but not as much as other exchange rates. But, 2 to 1 is a good rule of thumb for the USD to GBP.
