As long as you have the correct level of cover - Accidental Damage. With proof of ownership and the inspection report is constant with what you have described happened. |

1. Your mobile phone contract may have accident/loss coverage - check on that.
2. Your home policy may have coverage - but the cost of the phone (and the plumber to clear the line?) may be under your deductible.

If you have Accidental Damage cover under your Contents section, cover may be operative. However, some policies specifically exclude mobile phones.
Give them a call, explain the situation and see what they say.
Meanwhile, I'll resist the temptation to make any jokes about the phone being "Engaged"!! |

Probably not, but you can try to make a claim anyway.
I'd contact them first about it though, so you don't feel so embarrassed. Also, looking at the original documents should help you. The people on the other end of the phone, etc, don't always have everything in front of them. |

If you dont ask, you dont get, as the saying goes so it's worth a phone call or a visit to the shop. My daughter did the same thing and she was covered for a replacement. (It was the first time she ever cleaned a bathroom - she didn't do it again in a hurry!) |

Sorry although most company's have a "stupidity clause" most don't cover cell phones b/c idiots usually do stupid things with them.
We all suffer the consequences for idiots like them. (plus your deductible is probably more than your phone is worth) |
