If another vehicle caused damaged to your vehicle, your Collision coverage would cover you less your deductible. If someone keyed your car, then your Comprehensive coverage would cover you.
You cannot make one claim for all of the damage unless they all occurred at the same time. A deductible applies for each occurrence.
Your insurance does not necessarily go up just because you file a claim. If your car was parked, how could you possibly be at fault! Your rates generally only go up if you are at fault, partially at fault of have reported numerous claims over a three year period.

Yeah but unless you have a zero deductible they won't over it unless the damages are over your deductible amount!!

Of course it does but you'll have to pay your deductible and then you'll have a claim on your record and they'll also raise your premium. It's not worth it.

Each scratch and dent happened at a separate time. Each scratch and dent would be a separate claim with a separate deductible. You can't turn in one claim for all the scratches and dents on the car.

It generally does provide that coverage, subject to your deductible.

Ususally they will, but if you check the deductible, it ends up not being worth it!
