I believe you can get insurance on anything. The question is why? Unless you have an Iphone then I would think that it wouldn't be hard to get another one. |

Everybody's answers up to this point are wrong. YES you can get insurance for your iPod! I went to State Farm insurance back in 2004 to buy insurance on an engagement ring in case it got lost or was stolen. The policy cost me around $60 and it was good for a year. They said I had about $5,000 worth of coverage for that amount, so I added on some other items in addition to the ring - because it was all at no extra cost. I ended up suffering a loss and it was reimbursed.
An iPod is just like a ring. You need to buy something called a "personal items policy." |

some places sell insurance along with it. I don't know if theft is covered though. I got my son's at Best Buy and got 2 years coverage. I don't think ipods are built to last longer than a year or two so it is a good idea. |

not individually, not the one item, as far as I know. Ask the company who insured your laptop. |

There is no coverage available for an individual ipod--unless Apple or someone else comes up with a specialized program. It can only be covered as personal property under the homeowners or renters insurance and there will be a deductible.

You can do that for a laptop really? wow. you must really love that thing. but i guess it makes sense if you carry it around alot. anyway If you can do it for a laptop, I'm sure you can do it for an Ipod. Just contact your insurance company and ask man. |
