I was quoted a health insurance policy through Beech Street PPO and its supposed to be underwritten by National Union.
The plan is pregnancy-admissable (they accept pregnancy) which is VERY rare.
I searched for weeks and this is the only pregnancy-admissible plan i've found.
It's $219/mo. (plus a one-time enrollment fee of $75) with no contract or deductible and covers just about everything.
I found a little bit of info on Beech Street PPO but nothing on that exact policy and I just wanna make sure its not some scam. It almost sounds too good to be true. |

I don't think you're reading this correctly. I just went back and looked at the website again . . . looks to me, like they don't offer "individual" coverage. That's why maternity is covered - because it's only for GROUPS. The EMPLOYER buys into it, at $219 per employee, minimum of 50 employees.
The only coverages I saw, were LIMITED BENEFIT plans - ie, $500 a year for doctors, $1,000 for hospitalization. CRAP coverage.
You get what you pay for. Before you buy - if, indeed, someone is offering to let you buy it - you NEED to request the coverage summary so you know what's covered. And for goodness sake, don't buy this over the internet - because you're probably buying forged coverage. |
