Combined Insurance is the largest subsidiary of Aon Corp. Aon has been A rated by A.M. Best and is part of the S&P 500. Aon is NOT an insurance broker, they are the largest global reinsurance company. Combined has a history of quick payments on claims. It really depends on what kind of insurance you are looking at and how much you want to pay. I would consider Combined to be a bit on the pricey side and there is a high turnover rate for their agents, but that is a reflection on how challenging it is to make a living as an insurance agent, not a reflection on Combined's reputation for insurance. They have been in business for 89 years. Short answer...definately not a scam. |

I know nothing of their insurance coverage but I'm somewhat wary of companies that are always looking for employees. They are always emailing me (at least once a week) due to my resume being posted online (have been doing that for months!) and have called me at least 3 or 4 times asking me to interview. ..Just seems weird if it's a decent company. |

They are A rated by A.M. Bests, which is good. But they are owned by Aon, an insurance broker. It would seem to me an insurance company and a broker should be independent. |

I did, we signed up for emergency medical coverage for 1 year. We never needed it so cancled after that first year. I guess the policy we had would have covered emergency room & doctor office vistits. I know you could also get cancer insurance and that kind of stuff. I don't think it's a scam, it's just one of those things if you have it and use it, it's a good thing. If you never use it, kind of a waste of $. |
