Remember, a 70% is passing. So don't set your goal too high, your brain will explode. Shoot for a high 80. Because why?

If you have the cd with the test questions, study the hell out of those and you will have no problems.
I did it a few months ago and they sometimes ask you the same question but word it differently or have one in the positive and one in the negative but everything else sounds the same (same question)
They try to trick you, so take your time and read through each question very carefully. Also if you don't know a question right away, keep going to the next one and then come back to it when you review the section.
Also if you can go to the all day review session, definitely do so and then take the test ASAP afterwards.
Good luck! |

I took it in Michigan a few months ago so requirements may be a bit different, but I'll see if I can help.
In Michigan, you have to take some sort of pre-licensing class, whether in an actual classroom or online. I took the online class and went through all of the modules and tests that I was required to take. The name of the online company was License 2 go.
Unfortunately, there were many questions that were on the online course that weren't remotely discussed on the actual state exam. Likewise, the state exam had several questions that didnt pertain to the online course as the online course is more nationally geared.
Just study as much as possible on the main portions and you should do fine.
Good luck |

Take the sample tests over and over and over again. If you miss a question -- go back and read the rationale for the answer.
With repition, things will begin to fall in place. At first you won't think this will work -- but trust me it will.
I have counselled literally dozens of people to pass that exam in this same way.
Constant repition by taking those tests over and over until you are getting routinely 95% on them.
Then you will be ready. |
