In regards to employer offered medical insurance, the laws vary greatly from state to state. In some states, employers are only required to provide insurance after they have x amount of employees. You can call your local courthouse or Better Business Bureau to find out what laws exsist for your area. Good luck!

Health insurance is a benefit that an employer may not be required to offer. Check with your state's department of insurance commissioner. I would certainly suggest searching for another employer who does offer benefits.
