Inside was my Driver's License, a Debit Card, Health Insurance Card, and my California ID. What's my first step?
P.S. Just got home from a 18 hour drive from Colorado. Im guessing i left it there at my Relative's house or its up in the slopes in the cabin where i stayed. I didnt realize i didnt have it till i got home. I called back and said they're lookin for it, still no word.

cancel the debit card first and then call the dmv. they should be able to get you another licence. as for your health insurance, call your insurance provider to find out wat the wrong person could do with your card. good luck, hopefully your relatives have it. im sure that you will be fine though, it is colorado. |

first thing: report it to police
even tho they can't do much about locating it etc
it helps if anyone picks it up and tries to use your identity to take out loan, rent a car..whatever
you have something to protect you
2nd thing to do, call bank and tell them your card was lost, they will issue a new one, diff number
next get new driver's liscence and Id, might be easier to get ID first.

Call your bank right now and cancel your debit card, credit cards etc.... It's best to wait a few days for a new card than to submit claim forms to get your money back! |

Call credit card companys and cancel membership as quick as you can. You should be fine from there, he probably wont go to the Doc's, and use Health Insurance, but still cancel that. Not sure what do bout I.D. / Drivers licencse. Give them a call too and say It was stolen. |

out all your cards on hold so noone can use them. If you find walet cancel hold if you don't find walet have them send you all new cards. make sure you tell them what happened so that they can help you resolve this problem so people can't charge using useing your info. |

Tomorrow at daylight, search the car. The wallet may have slid down between the seats or next to the driver's side or passenger's side of the door. (If you drove 18 hours, didn't you have to stop and buy gas, spend money and eat, pee???)
When you are tired, it's hard to remember exactly where you last had it.
If you still don't have it call the relatives and whoever is in charge of the cabin.
If you still don't have it, start hunting for your birth certificate and SSA card--getting new ID has gotten a little harder, though the DMV can match your photo on their computer to you in person.... |

Dont spend much money until its found. if there was alot of money kept in there, hope nobody takes it! next time you go somewhere, check that u have everything until you leave. |
